Released in Canada September 4, 2015, The Journey Home is a feature film produced as an international co-production between Canada and Italy about a young teenage boy played by Dakota Goyo (Real Steel) who rescues a polar bear cub. The Journey Home is produced by HD Productions srl (Italy) and Media-Max, RHH Productions and Original Pictures. It was shot between May and July, 2013 in and around Churchill, Manitoba, Rankin Inlet, Nunavut and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The Journey Home is directed by Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies) and also stars Goran Visjnic (ER) and Bridget Moynahan (Blue Bloods). The Journey Home is distributed by eOne in Canada, Medusa in Italy and Hyde Park-Imagenation internationally. It is available in Canada on CBC Gem.
